Abstract

Scientific publishing presents various challenges for authors, and especially for researchers in training. In a recent publication, Pérez-Anaya et al.1 offer a pertinent perspective that invites reflection on some key factors that influence editorial rejection of manuscripts. The text clearly outlines the importance of compliance with editorial standards, the correct structuring of the method, and the appropriate presentation of references. Furthermore, they emphasize that these aspects are fundamental elements for guaranteeing the quality of publications and ensuring a significant contribution to the advancement of scientific knowledge.
