Determinación de la frecuencia del tipo de sangre (sistema ABO) en los estudiantes de la Universidad del Magdalena, Colombia

Abstract

The objective of this work is to know which is the type of predominant blood in old and new students of the Universidad del Magdalena in I semester of the 2002, the same as the distribution with regard to the factor Rh, sex and origin place. The study carries in 400 students selected at random of different semesters of the University of the Magdalena (UNIMAG), you determined the frequencies genotypes like they it plows: old (O+) (0.385) - (AB -) (0.005); in new (O+) (0.409)–(AB-) (0.009); in men (O+) (0.405)–(AB -) (0.0005); in women (O+) (0.385)–(AB -) (0.0005); born in Santa Marta (O+) (0.32)–(AB -) (7.49x10-3); born outside of Santa Marta (O+) (0.54)–(AB-) (0.000). In all the comparisons the frequency major had it O+ and the less AB -.
