Abstract

One of the actual problems found in the hospitals, specially in the Intensive Care Units is the Nosocomial Pneumonia. One the causes of this infections is linked to not appropriate conducts executed by health workers when attending infected patient with no proper elements. Epidemiology researches carried out in the UCI shows the one of main mechanism of transmition of pathogen agents is the contact by the hands and or little drops in the air, by flu drops when people communicate, another mechanism is trough the air, which has special importance in the elements and devices of exclusive use of the patients. In Nosocomial infections prevention programs it is necessary the intervention of the psychology specialized in health, his major concern is the promotion of conducts with tendency to reduce the risk of intrahospitalary infections, by through the behave modification in the health professional workers, also the patients behave.
