The meaning and significance of educating

Abstract
This document is conceived as an introduction to the necessary reflection quo must advance Educators around the question: What kind of person we want to be? In this sense, I approach different approaches quo considered Ideals of Greek education, international recommendations of Unesco proposals philosophers, intellectuals and Latin American leaders. I intend, in this way, initiate a dialogue that encourages multiple exchanges in the perspective of building, with autonomy, answers to this question, on a horizon in order to enrich the vision of the human being and the role of education and educators.
