Influencia del apego en la toma de decisiones profesionales durante la adolescencia: una revisión sistemática

Resumen
La primera toma de decisiones profesionales a la que se enfrentan las personas se da en el transcurso
de la adolescencia. Sin embargo, los cuidadores principales y la relación de apego con ellos parece que
podría influir en este proceso, aunque no está claro en qué forma. El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar
críticamente los estudios que examinan la relación entre el estilo de apego entre cuidadores y adolescentes y la toma de decisiones profesionales. Siguiendo la metodología PRISMA, se obtuvieron 20 estudios de las bases de datos PsycNet, ProQuest, Pubmed y ScienceDirect. Los resultados mostraron que existe una relación entre el estilo de apego y la toma de decisiones profesionales e involucraron otras variables como mediadoras. Concretamente, un estilo de apego inseguro influye de forma negativa en la toma de decisiones, mientras que un estilo de apego seguro funciona como factor de protección y facilitador. Concluimos que fortalecer el apego con los hijos permite tomar mejores decisiones sobre el futuro profesional.
