Invading and Perverting Ethnographies to Maricomprendernos: Notes for Rethinking Ethnographic Practices from a Queer/Cuir/Marica Horizon

Abstract
This research is an effort to rethink ethnographic practices from the perspective of sex-gender dissidence, through conceptual contaminations and methodological perversions. Following a general introduction, the paper is divided into two parts that situate ethnographic work within the queer/cuir/marica horizon. First, it offers a brief reconstruction of the argument for queer ethnography. Second, it explores the transition from queer ethnography to cuir/marica ethnography, situated in the Latin American context. Taken together, this reflection proposes Latin American cuir/maricas ethnographies as strategies for maricomprendernos.
