Liderazgo transformacional en el sector financiero: un análisis bibliométrico

Resumen

El presente artículo tiene como objetivo realizar un análisis bibliométrico de las publicaciones sobre liderazgo transformacional en el sector financiero entre los años 2010 y 2021. El estilo transformacional de liderazgo se basa en la capacidad de un líder para influir en los empleados de forma positiva a través de la motivación. Este estilo se ejerce por parte de líderes en empresas de diferentes sectores económicos. Para cumplir con el objetivo, se utilizó un enfoque cuantitativo haciendo uso de bibliometría para la identificación de las tendencias de investigación sobre el tema y la obtención de métricas. La muestra usada fue de 119 documentos publicados en revistas indizadas en Scopus. Los análisis se hicieron con el apoyo del software VOSviewer. Los resultados más importantes muestran que los países emergentes, especialmente de origen asiático, sobresalen en la producción sobre liderazgo transformacional; que este estilo de liderazgo se relaciona en las publicaciones con la aplicación de otros estilos; que existe una diferencia en la cantidad de publicaciones y el impacto de estas; que hay una tendencia a citar a los autores que sentaron las bases teóricas; y que predominan los autores que escriben en coautoría y no de forma individual.
